From Scratch MFA Thesis Book
FROM SCRATCH was written and designed on the eve of my final thesis exhibition. The 102-page book attempts to make connections between art and history, the environment, my personal life, as well as my use of the subway and digital technology in the creation of recent bodies of work. Accompanying the words are over 50 images of artworks and an accompanying musical playlist. This book was written at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic during the lockdown, in the Bronx, NYC, and serves as a document of the time.
