A site-specific solo exhibition at The Nancy Willard and Eric Lindbloom Artist-Run Project Space: UPSTAIRS GALLERIES
Jan. 21 – March 13, 2022
MTFCit is a riff in progress. The works on display are conversations between unknown human and natural elements and I. Made of new, archival, and found images, works on paper and other objects, MTFCit is a roadmap to a mute discussion.
It’s about heeding the trees while they speak for you and remembering lovers you’ve never seen before.
It’s about the view ahead from below and developing a language from stains. Etching time in a forest of X’s and preserving memories in salt. MTFCit frames windows.
MTFCit was conceived by spinning, stopping abruptly, and running fast in no particular direction. A broken news broadcast from limbo, it’s about coming to tell them, and coming to them again.
It’s about water. MTFCit is about water.
